In 1987 God gave this Vision to Pastor Victor and Pastor Barbara Knight:

To build a church, House of Prayer, to be a place where deliverance is always available for everyone, especial
that no one else want or desire to minister to and those rejected by society.

Further directed by the Holy Spirit, House of Prayer was built and committed to reaching the community as a visible participant of the neighborhood. The goals are working together with the people of the neighborhood to help improve our community by opening the church facilities to host neighborhood meetings and other activities to bring the community together. Also to improve the living area with God's presence, and have programs designed to appeal to the neighborhood youth to give them a path that will assist them in becoming productive citizens of society. With these actions we will establish a greater belief in the power of love through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

House of prayer will be a place where the atmosphere of God's love is evident through the teaching of God's Word, fellowshipping and praying. This genuine love of God will cause all those who seek deliverance in this place to have a supernatural experience with God.
